Where I work.
I have a private practice in on Borough High Street, SE1, 3 minutes walk from London Bridge station, and near to Borough Elephant and Castle and Bermondsey tube stations. I also work online via Zoom or telephone.

How Long Would I Need To Commit To Counselling?
It's difficult to know precisely how long any one person will want or need to be in therapy. It can feel daunting to commit to something long term so often I suggest to clients to commit to a six week period. Within this time frame we can establish some concrete issues to work on and if you feel able and willing to continue beyond six weeks then there is more time to explore issues at greater depth.
I aim to work collaboratively with my clients, regularly reviewing the counselling process in sessions, and working towards a mutually agreed ending.
With the exception of holidays and unavoidable engagements, I would generally ask clients to commit to engaging with me on a regular weekly basis.
Our Contract
We will work within a contract which I will go through with you in your first session. The contract is a set of boundaries that we will establish together, which provides a safe and professional framework for our sessions and for our therapeutic relationship. I abide by the ethical frameworks of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), of which I am a registered member. I am also fully insured and have supervision with a senior psychotherapist.
How Confidential Would It Be?
The material clients share with me is kept confidential (although there are some legal and professional limits to confidentiality which I can explain to you when we meet or agree an online counselling contract). In accordance with UKCP and BACP codes of practice I do meet with a trained supervisor on a regular basis to discuss my work. However, I do not divulge client’s full names and any notes I keep are for my reference only (again containing client initials only).
When Can I Make An Appointment?
Please contact me directly to discuss my availability. At present I have scope to offer appointments at different times throughout the week.
